The Telegram channel allows you to connect a Telegram bot to Evo CRM so messages can be received and managed automatically. This configuration uses a Bot Token, generated directly in Telegram.

Starting a New Channel

To start creating a Telegram channel, use the highlighted action. New Channel button The New Channel button (highlighted) starts the channel creation process.

Selecting Telegram

On the Select a channel type screen, click the Telegram card. Telegram channel type The highlighted card represents the Telegram bot for automated support.

Configuring the Telegram Channel

After selecting Telegram, the configuration screen is displayed. Telegram configuration screen Within the highlighted areas, the screen shows:

Bot Token Field

  • Bot Token
  • Field where the Telegram bot token should be pasted
  • Help text explaining that the token is obtained from @BotFather on Telegram

Instructions Panel

A step-by-step guide explaining how to create a Telegram bot:
  1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
  2. Type /newbot
  3. Define a name for the bot
  4. Define a username ending with bot
  5. Copy the generated token

Action Buttons

  • Cancel
    • Discards the configuration
  • Create Channel
    • Saves the Telegram channel and activates it
To finalize the configuration, paste the Bot Token and click Create Channel.

Final Considerations

  • The Telegram channel requires a valid Bot Token
  • The token must be generated using @BotFather
  • Once created, the bot is available in Evo CRM
