This document explains how to configure the Instagram and Facebook Messenger channels in Evo CRM. Both channels use an authentication flow that connects your business account/page to the platform so messages can be received and managed.

Starting a New Channel

To start, use the highlighted action on the Channels screen. New Channel button The New Channel button (highlighted) is used to start creating a new communication channel.

Selecting Instagram

On the Select a channel type screen, click the Instagram card. Instagram channel type The highlighted card represents the Instagram direct messages channel.

Connecting Instagram

After selecting Instagram, the system opens the configuration screen. Connect with Instagram Within the highlighted area, the screen shows:
  • Connect with Instagram
  • Description indicating that an Instagram business account is required
  • Button: Connect with Instagram
  • Option to Cancel the operation
Clicking Connect with Instagram redirects you to Instagram to authorize the connection.

Selecting Facebook Messenger

To configure Facebook Messenger, return to the channel type selection screen and click Facebook Messenger. Facebook Messenger channel type The highlighted card represents the Facebook Messenger chat channel.

Connecting Facebook Messenger

After selecting Facebook Messenger, the configuration screen is displayed. Connect with Facebook Within the highlighted area, the screen shows:
  • Connect with Facebook
  • Button: Sign in with Facebook
  • Message informing that you will be redirected to authorize the application
  • Note indicating that you must be a Facebook page administrator
Clicking Sign in with Facebook redirects you to Facebook to authenticate and grant access to the selected page.

Final Considerations

  • Instagram requires an Instagram business account
  • Facebook Messenger requires administrator access to the Facebook page
  • Both channels use an external authorization flow
  • After authorization, the channel is available in Evo CRM
